The Challenge 

Nowadays, many smart systems are used. However, from a perspective of innovation, the bathroom is lagging behind on other products. For example, users still set their shower temperature mechanically instead of digitally. New technologies can increase user-friendliness and take the bathroom's ease of use to the next level! Water consumption is an additional problem, or rather said water waste, in current bathrooms. A lot of filtered water flows away without being used optimally. By using modern techniques, a bathroom can be made more environmentally friendly.

The Solution

The solution is to integrate intelligent systems into the bathroom. Switching from analog to digital devices (e.g. to control the temperature) and connecting these devices to the internet, will create a so-called smart bathroom. The data-insights can be used to reduce water waste. Innovations to recycle water and use water at the optimal level can be implemented as well. Besides, the smart devices increase user comfort: imagine filling the bath already via your smartphone, while on your way home from a busy day at work.

The Mission

Our mission is to create the optimal shower- and bathing sensation. SmartFlood wants to implement intelligent systems into the bathroom to gain user-friendliness and sustainability. Data-insights and intelligent systems can help a new generation raise their children in an even more sustainable way.
