The Challenge

Continuous developments have made 3D printing a production method that is used more and more. Unfortunately, 3D printing often results in failed prints, useless products by faulty designs or products that simply become obsolete. This means that the increase of 3D printing inevitably leads to an increase in plastic waste. Because the mainstream 3D printing plastics (PLA and ABS) are not recycled but burned in the dutch waste system, action is needed.

The Solution

Recycl3D is a product-service combination that will take the first steps required to make 3D printing a fully circular production method. At Recycl3D, 3D printing plastic waste is collected from specialized bins, or public instances. The collected 3D printing waste will then be turned into new printing filament. This new filament can be ordered by customers who will subsequently receive plastic waste as new filament.

The Mission

Recycl3D aims to make 3D printing a fully circular production method.
