With the rapid advancement of software technology, now even the dishwasher can have smart functionalities. We can say our appliances are getting smarter, yet our home is not. Many of these smart appliances are created by different parties with different standards and are troubling to connect to one another.
By integrating smart technology in the development of homes from the start, VIRTUe can ensure the best price and user experience. In collaboration with our partners, we have developed a home automation system for co-living. Our interactive display, EQUI, is placed in the common room and brings data and people together. EQUI enables residents to reduce and balance their energy & water consumption by scheduling appliances, visualizing data & encouraging shared use.
VIRTUe’s mission is to actively encourage a communal, sustainable mindset of people through the building industry. Among others, we see huge potential in the power of smart homes. By activating the residents of a building to work together, we can make sustainable living fun and easy for everyone, everywhere.
